ILD

This surface mounted 2 piece interlock has an integral mechanism which ensures that the key inserted to gain access cannot be removed until the door or guard has been securely closed and the bolt fully engaged.

The Figure type version is ILB2 and the Pin type version is ILD. The standard unit has blind tapped mounting holes, making it tamper proof. A floating bolt mounting bracket to provide flexibility to accommodate misalignment is also available.

For heavy duty applications, a specially designed model to withstand rough handling is available : the ILH#. The stainless steel bolt must be engaged and locked before the control key is released. The standard unit has blind tapped mountings from the back, which prevents tampering from the outside. Through mounting hole and floating bolt mounting bracket to overcome guard misalignment are also available. The ILH – 150 / 160 / 170 models offer integral isolation switches and “Key free / Captive key” versions for personnel protection, in case of single point of hazard. The single lock series is ILH – 1#. The single lock, two key ( key exchange / 2 key trapped ) series is ILH – 2#. Integral switching can be provided to operate at any desired interlocking sequence. These are popularly used in robot cell applications. Normally they are available as front plate mounting versions. Integral switching can be provided to operate at any desired interlocking sequences.
